Art was an ADA distributor for a while, you're not going to be able to buy much even if it does happen. Import tariffs and fertilizier disclosure laws will keep most products either prohibitively expensive ($60 a bag for ADA powersand) or not available (ADA will _not_ give away the composition of the Brighty series)...
Sorry to ruin this one <img border="0" src="smileys/smiley5.gif" border="0">

Jeff,
i agree those points. the price i can get a bag of amazonia aqua soil is about $80. i forgot how many liters of this. is it ok to bring it back oversea? can i pass the customs house? i think equipments r not a problem if people r willing to buy and pay shipping either directly from Japan or another country. does Art have website or email? pm me if u know. i have ADA 2003 catalog. i can see how high quality of ADA products would be even the catalog itself.
thanks for information,
Tim

Yeah, the following does _NOT_ apply to customs:
"Its easier to beg forgiveness than ask permission..."
It works for most other branches of government and altogether a very useful way to get things done, but those customs guys can be a bear.... ADA soils are not really soils AFAIK but since it says that on the bag you might have a tough sell. Soils are heavily regulated as the customs folks are worried about soil borne nematoads and other nasties that might kill our crops... this is one of the reasons Tropica will never sell their plants here, the US consider their rockwool as soil...
Art runs www.aquaticplantcentral.com right now but I'm pretty sure he's no longer in the business...
