That sale was only good through the end of May. That's the best price I've seen in a very long time I"m afraid.

curses, I really need to replace the Penn Plax 1200 on the 55, it has so much bypass going on that I am debating trying to modify/remove the bypass.

The outside of the filter cages catch more sludge then the filter media does.

Well, if you google "petsmart coupon" it'll usually come up with something...at least free shipping. The original price still isn't horrible.

Petsmart matches their own Internet prices. Just print out the price, and they will give you the item for that much; therefore, you can avoid having to pay for shipping, and you get the lower online price.
