I got inspired to make a tank with sand from Catfish convention, and I rescued about 8 big beutiful cories from Petco. Most of them had started getting fungus on the barbels. They have spots on back, and a light brown colar. Unfortunately, it turns out that I hate them. They are very skittish. If I approach the tank, the small males make a fuss. They do a good game of hide and seek. And I can't really get close to the tank, so maybe they are wilds, not comfortable around humans.

The killer part is that they get stuck in the fish net; their fins get stuck, and have to be pried off the net. Here's the perfect environment, and turned over to an apisto tank.

Suggestion on the netting, Take a plastic sandwich bag slit the bottom open along the edge and insert it into the net you are using. Minimizes the damage as it lessens the chance of the fish getting stuck. How much were you hoping to get at the auction for them?

You can also heard them into a plastic cup and scoop them out instead of a net. Do they still have fungus?
