Hi ... a friend of mine has a fairly low-maintenance planted tank, and had used ferrovit for years. Unfortunately, it's no longer available in the US. Does anyone know of a similar fertilizer which closely matches the composition of ferrovit?
thanks,

ferrovit substitute
I googled ferrovit, one of the first things that popped up was a link that said, "Ferrovit is an iron supplement containing Ferrous Fumarate used in treatment of iron deficiency anemia during pregnancy and lactation," It shouldn't be hard to find iron in dry or liquid form. CSM+B is a blend of micro nutrients containing a lot of trace elements including iron. It's what I have been using to dose micros. There's also Seachem Flourish Iron, you can pick up at most any local fish store or online retailer such as Big Al's.
