Very interesting. I would be concerned about suspending that much weight. Definitely costs more than I would be willing to shell out. I found my way to this link, which has more info on it.

I was more referring to:
A high-performance organic filtration system maintains a clean aquatic environment with minimal upkeep.

Salt water with live rock and no powerheads, skimmers or filters?

Hell a low light setup would be the most you could manage without some modifications or pendants.

Okay, I see your point now, literally. I have no experience with salt water. So the set up is missing a few things. Seems if it were a fresh water fish only tank it would be more feasible.

even then it would be a challenge. No water movement equals no circulation, and unless you went with very small fish or shrimp, there would be an O2 issue.

I take it you didn't see the big powerhead attachment on one side, or read that the filtration was in a remote location. It is pumping water up the tubes through the ceiling.

That thing could be pumping 700 gph to a remote 90g fuge full of caulerpa, you know.

If that is the case, awesome, I like the concept but unless you have a steel framed house, wood isnt gonna be able to support that weight without some serious distribution.

Did anyone else notice the skylights in the room? That equals major algae to me... They are very narrow tanks too. The link didn't say how many gallons they were. And how do you clean it? Does it rock back and forth when you're down in there scrubbing the gunk off the bottom, lol?????

Interesting concept, but not very practical, IMO.....

First one to have this tank, a TV tank, a Mac tank, and the Toilet tank all in one room wins.
