I'm not sure about this. I thought it was more about the regulator not being able to handle the lack of pressure and therefore allowing the remaining CO2 to escape, therefore a low pressure regulator may be needed. ???

I read on an APC thread that a quality needle valve, ie swagelock, ideal, or fabco will eliminate the risk of end of tank dump, or a dual stage regulator will also accomplish the same thing. I believe it was Orlando that made the observation about the needle valve.

I tweeked the spathe definition and added a couple more to provide a complete package.

Aroid – a member of the Araceae or Arum family of plants containing a flower consisting of a spadix and a spathe. Examples of aroids include Anubias, Cryptocoryne, Aglaonema (Chinese evergreen) Anthurium, Arum, Dieffenbachia, Philodendron, Spathiphyllum (Peace lily), and Skunk cabbage (Symplocarpus foetidus).

Bract – a modified or specialized leaf, usually associated with a reproductive structure such as a flower or inflorescence axis (stem). Examples of bracts include the spathe on aroids such as Anubias and Cryptocoryne, and the colorful “flowerâ€
