Laurel Bottle Gas will fill them while you wait too. It doesn't take long either.

AirGas had to set me up with an account first before they could sell it to me. I paid with a credit card.

Laurel Bottled Gas won't fill 20# either, asked them while I was there last week.
I'll have to check into Airgas, that'd be great!

The local number to reach Airgas on Nursery Rd is 410-636-1486. I have it written on their business card. What I posted yesterday was what I found online, their 800 number is listed for all locations.

with all this, glad that I did NOT order the 20pounder from Co2 canisters. I would have been driving all over trying to get it filled.

Exactly what I did!
I did get it filled - and I think at Airgas - in Frederick the first time. If you leave it, they'll do it, have to wait for their timeline though, and could be a few days. Same with Laurel bottled Gas - nobody wants to fill the 20# is what I'm finding.

I just got my new, certified 5lb filled while I waited down in Caton/Baltimore. I have an old tank that I just trade out that I use for my homebrew.
