PPS Pro
I've been thinking about starting the PPS Pro dosing regime on my 120g. Comments, suggestions? Reasons why I shouldn't...thanks! Loni

I haven't tried the Pro regime, but the classic works great. I think the Pro regime is supposed to be easier to dose, but I don't like that they combine all of the macro nutrients into a single mixture. The classic formulation has three macro mixtures, all with slightly different combinations of the macro nutrients, NPK which allow you to dose depending on what you're trying to achieve. i.e. if you're currently experiencing an algae outbreak, you can choose to use the fertilizer mixture that contains no phosphates in order to limit algal growth, (an excess of phosphates can select for increased algal growth).
Either way, if you don't want to get that technical, the Pro regime seems to be pretty robust and people have alot of success with it.
The other plus is that it's cheap! a pound of each chemical will last you a long time!

I dose PPS Pro, I find it pretty easy dealing with one mix for micros and one mix of macros. If you want to dose each compound individually that is another option. Another GWAPA member Neilan created a PPS Pro Auto Dosing Spreadsheet if you want to go that route. It's a nice tool.
