I know, probably the first thing I learned on my own, lol. I tore down mine and rebuilt it a month or so after I first set it up. Used a LOT more peat/soil (and another bag and half of eco-complete). Algae went bonkers for a couple weeks, and then the amazon sword went nuts and filled half the tank.
