Does anyone know how to determine the comparative luminosity of LEDs vs. flourescents? I'm considering using LED MR 16 bulbs--or using a regular CF hood.
Of course, since the LEDs use almost no electricity so they aren't rated by wattage. The LED lights I'm looking at are each rated anywhere from about 100-300 lumen, but I've got no clue how that compares with flourescent lighting. How many lumens per watt in a flourescent bulb?
Also--I'm thinking cool vs. warm white--any thoughts?
WPG vs LPG--what's the equivalence?

Tackle them backwards if I may.
Cool vs. white is able to be put loosely back to K ratings. Cool is closer to the bulbs we like to use, Warm is yellower and lower on a K scale. Cool = maybe 5-6k, warm = maybe 3k..... we want cool.
T5HO bulbs produce something like 92 lumens per watt for comparison sake. T12's are like under 40. CFL's somewhere in the middle around 60.
