Eheim 2211 classic on Fluval Ebi

Hi All,

I have just setup my old fluval EBI which i belive is 7.9g. I'm currently using a hob filter but wanted to replace this with a external canister filter that is easy for maintenance. I'm leaning on buying the eheim 2211 clasic but wondering if anyone here is using the classic and retrofited with a quick disconnect for the hise like my eheim 2232 in my 20g tank for easy cleaning? If you have other suggestions of any external canister filter for this nano tank please chime in.

I used to use a 2011 with the quick connects. It was a royal pain to prime it. The bigger ones are easier. I have yet to find a filter that I really like for those smaller tanks. I think I'd stick with the hob.

Thanks Cristy for your input. I might try my current eheim ecco 2232 and see if i can control the flow, if not back to hob.
