so i found out why i got a co2 set up so cheap. well, not that cheap but cheap enough for me to get it...the regulator is broken :( when i put it together i turned the handle to on and co2 comes out of the left side opening (see pic). to me it looks as if something goes there...can it be saved?

Hi Damian,
I had a similar problem with my regulator. It turned out to be some debris that got into it. After a careful cleaning, I got it working again. The regulator has some internal washers, if those are damaged, I am not sure they will be easily replaceable.

I have a brand new regulator if you can't fix this one (got it from beverage factory thinking I will not be able to fix mine) - if the fittings to he solenoid match, you'll just have to replace the regulator and reuse the solenoid and needle valve ( assuming those work fine).

tempting! i amount of co2 that comes out is very noticeable! like i varely turned the valve to open it and it fizzed its way out through that hole. the opening is quite big, what is it for?? where i circled it... i see a good deal of dirt in/around it, i will see if ic an get it cleaned
