Turbo Twist 3X

Post by Ltrepeter2000 »

This thing is giving me fits on securing the tubing to the input and output barbs. Those of you that have one of these could you tell me how you are getting the tubing to stay in place. Of course the one that I bought did not have its installation instruction in the box and coralife doesnt have one that is downloadable on their website. Trying to knock out green water again.

Thanks
Rob

small zip ties, never had a problem with leaking. It comes with 2 sets of barbs correct? It's been a while since i last used mine. obviously make sure your using the right barbs for the size tubing. 12mm and 16mm I think

I thought it had reverse threaded screw things like an Eheim filter....

If not, I always use the metal rings from plumbing fitting, yknow, the ones with the screw on the side, for all other tube to fitting applications. Gotta be a little careful to not crush plastic, but they hold by god!

It was a reverse thread. I figured it out about twenty minutes after I posted this. Its pretty extreme though as you have to take it almost the the end of the thread to finally get it to clamp.

Thanks
