I just have my cylinder 2.5 lbs refill for the 1st time and I just wondering what did I do wrong as when I turn the cylinder (Black) knob to open, it makes a high pitched whistle and the CO2 air is coming out from the regulator side the one with a small hole. BTW I turn it very very slowly as im afraid to break it.
Any suggestions? did I just break it or they refill the tank (cylinder) too much. I bought the regulator not even a year ago new.
Please help!

Milwaukee Co2 regulator problem

Usually, when I disconnect my regulator, I just turn off the cylinder, and leave everything else the same.
But in your case, yes, turn the regulator black knob all the way open (lefty loosey), and then open your cylinder all the way. Now, slowly (1/4 turn at a time) tighten the regulator knob until the right gauge reads 10-20 psi. Now, adjust the needle value to the appropriate number of bubbles per second.

It may be gone. See this series of posts:

Tried that but like john posted on his thread there is a leak of co2 in the regulator to the left. I did what kris said and the leak is gone and I see bubbles coming out now but here's the confusion the pressure reads not even in zero its in the middle of the printed kg/cm all the way in the middle. Will there be a problem running like this? I hope I did not break it.
