Ghazanfar... keep the Sony and pick up a cheap Nikon Coolpix somewhere. They have an incredible macro range and the CoolLight is a nice add-on for close ups. I'm not thrilled about the long distance capabilities of the Coolpix lines, but the macro abilities are awesome. You can borrow mine for a bit if you want to give it a shot.
