don't make it so complicated, a new 55 at super pets is only 99.99, how much can you get it from aqueon? plus shipping and all.....and it might arrive cracked a 120 (tank only ) is not that spensive either...is the stand and the supplies that add up usually... try wallys too, i think they match prices or so a " customer" said, but sometimes they want to try and get stuff for cheaper...haa, give them a call and maybe you will end up with a new safe tank

Dave, at Centreville Aquarium, has a 120 gallon tank that is 60 inches long, but it's 18 inches deep.
If you go with the 55, then you'll have counter space all the way around the tank and that comes in handy for setting things down when you're working on the tank. That hutch would look fabulous with a piece of granite on it, btw. Or, get a piece of wood, and cover it with laminate that looks like granite. That's a cheaper alternative.
Will you need to shore it up or put on extra support in the structure in order to hold the weight?
