Here's some more questions. :)

First, Is your in-line reactor running after the pump? If so, is there any reason not to feed the co2 directly into the loop before the pump and let the pump serve as the reactor?

Second, how is the loop plumbed without drilling more holes into the tank. Wouldn't one overflow pipe have to serve as a return and one as an intake?

Where does that leave the intake and output for the eheim?

Seems like I would need at least 4 -5 holes in the tank. (?)

Third, how/where are you feeding water into the tank?

Fourth, how many times are you turning the tank over between the filter and the pump?

Fifth, is three inches of substrate enough to cover the circulation plumbing?

Hmmm, maybe I should have paid more attention when I had the chance. :?

Filter intake is via regular filter intake tube
Filter output is split into two and returned to the tank using two 'holes', one
from each overflow.
Standpipe for the drain takes up one 'hole' in one overflow.
Closed loop intake takes up the last remaining 'hole' in the other overflow.
Closed loop return is over the edge and down into the substrate,
black painted PVC right next to the overflow.

..oh and new water enters the tank via a 1/4 poly tubing thats coming in
over the back and tied to one of the overflow units such that new water is added
into the 'overflow'.

You did one incredible job hiding all that equipment. One of the things that I wasn't grasping is that there are two "holes" in each overflow box (at least I think that's right). I think I'm going to drill the tank for the circulation loop return rather than running it over the top. I may also drill it for the water in-put hose if possible.

I'll probably take you up on that offer after the holidays when I have some free time to drive there. Thanks for the offer.

Ghaz

Definitely look forward to a post once you add the new light fixture so that we can see the difference. Also was wondering if you had been documenting your steps on building your terrarium. I would be interested in seeing the steps you took to develop it since it is so well thought out and has so many details. Definitely look forward to seeing it as it develops.
