I am a new member of GWAPA and I know this is a dumb question even in a world where there are no dumb questions.
What, if anything, do you do to prevent mold and other gunk building up in the Python tubing?
If you do not do anything to prevent the build up, then how often do you have to clean out the tubing and how do you clean it?
Hanging up a 50 foot hose to drip dry does not seem too practical.
Thanks

Python -- Preventing Mold
Gary C. Pokrant
I'm in the Oxiclean group - I just feed th Python into the bucket slowly to get the air out.
I also cheat and let the water run on vacuum while I'm hanging the hose back up after use to purge the water. My office Python did not get that care in handling and molded routinely. PITA.
