First time reg. build

so i have been doing lots of research on building a regulator and ended up buying a used unit on ebay. Being that there are so many options im still unsure of what to do next. I know i will be needing some fittings and would like a bubble counter. Also have to figure out how this solenoid works. So i know there is lots of info on this subject, but i wanted to see if i could get some help on top of the research Im doing. I wanted to come to the meeting on monday but wont be able to make it. Here is a pic of what ive obtained so far minus the tank witch i have alredy too. vector hpt270c, clippard et-2m-24-vdc. Any one care to give me some suggestions? This stuff still feels like rocket science to me!!

I meant to say saturday, not sure why I wrote monday. Can't make it this week, I have to work tomorrow. Can make it to the next meeting if I ask off that day. Anyways I think i know where the meeting will be, just don't know the day yet. Suppose its a bit early for that anyhow. I am looking forward to meeting everyone and checking out the club! Maby i will have more parts for the rig by then.

Do I want to use NPT connections? i think my reg has 580 connections on it and i need to switch it to 320. Do i want to buy the NPT nipple vs the tube weld or face seal??
