I'll be using the hose next weekend with my pump submersed in the aquarium and pushing water out it. I'll post how it goes after I do my water changes. The siphon worked fine with a regular garden hose, but it's so heavy and bulky I wanted to give this other one a try. Impulse buying at Bed Bath and Beyond.

Bed Bath and Beyond, a.k.a., the other aquarium supply store.

I look forward to knowing how the pocket hose works out. If you stay with the 50 ft hose, I found a pivoting hose hanger that looks promising. The UnReel, http://www.aquaticeco.com/subcategories ... the-UnReel

The pocket hose didn't work; I had to use the 50 foot garden hose. I really wanted that thing to work because it is so portable and light. I think maybe the pump didn't provide enough force to expand the hose.
