CO2 Tank Dump

Post by JLW »

I know that one of the easiest ways to prevent CO2 dump is to simply never let the cylinder get empty. When it gets low, you replace it, sacrificing the small amount of gas still in it.

At what level should you do this?

I let my high pressure gauge go down to 300 psi before refilling the tank, that is only 5 or 6 days of gas left in my tank.

I do use dual stage regulators so EOTD is not really a problem but I do not loike to run out of gas if possible.
Sincerely,
Tim
