Gush Crystal Pod and trap

Post by jweis »

Have any of you seen the Gush Crystal Pod? It attaches to the side of the aquarium with suction cups and can be used as a planter within the tank or to feed shrimp. I am going to try one out for feeding my shrimp. http://www.southernoakaquatics.com/crystalpod.html

Also, I am going to try this catch device for the leeches and occassional planaria I find in my tanks. http://www.southernoakaquatics.com/catchpen.html

I love gadgets, especially pretty ones.

Looks pretty cool, but $30? Yikes! The shrimp screen looks pretty interesting though. I wonder what a group buy discount would be?

I was laughing when I saw their logo. SOAK! They deffinately need to work on that.

Cheers.

There is nothing in this hobby that I like that is not expensive.

They are backordered on the trap and they only have 2 Pods in stock, with more arriving in two weeks. Good customer service though. They offered to ship me what they have now, and then ship the rest later, but they will only charge me for shipping once.

Amen to that. The only exceptions are (a) my GWAPA membership - a bargain at ten times the price, and (b) plants from our auctions. It's the hardware that kills the bank account.

For me it is hardware and shrimp that deplete my bank account.
