Heard of Eco-Lamps LED Aquarium Light?

Post by krisw »

I was surfing the web, and saw this ad pop up on a site. Look at this brochure:

http://www.eco-lamps.com/pdf/KR92%20leaflet.pdf

Looks like a heck of an intriguing light, but unfortunately it starts at $1200! Has anyone heard anything about these? (Not that I'm going to buy one, but it's neat to know that more and more LED solutions are coming out)

I think the LED lighting systems are neat but still too expensive. Hopefully, like other new technologies, the prices will come down. I just put up LED holiday lights! Nice vivid colors!

I had not seen those before, but cool fixture! It would be nice if they offered different spectrum LEDs (for us plant folks); seems like all the LED fixtures are targeted towards saltwater folks (maybe because they're used to spending ridiculous amounts of money on equipment?).

That's the second fixture I've seen this week with a built-in programmable timer. I hope all new fixtures come with this - I mean, seriously, since they know we're going to want to turn the lights off and on automatically, I'm surprised fixture manufacturers haven't thought of this before. It couldn't add more than $20 to the price, and it would allow you to control multiple lights in the same fixture, but only have one cord.
