The 2.5 Aquarium set up

Post by ddavila06 »

howdy, i just finally finished setting up the light for the little 2.5 that i purchased for the competition thingy that the club organizes. anyhow, my question is: How the heck do you do anything with a 2.5 with a light with legs  there is like an inch space for i don't know, drop something in there? hahha...comments very welcome! this is my first time with a light with legs on the aquarium :?

Scape it, Plant it....then put the light back on top...worst case turn the light on its side on whatever surface you are setting the tank up on so you can see in the tank

I also found that if you put a HOB filter like Red Sea's Nano Deco filter, you can slide the light back, resting on the top of the filter, while you work inside the tank.

Apart from rigging a mini planting machine that you can slip in that space and then remote control under water, No.
