Separate timer for CO2?

Post by DelawareJim »

Lately I've been ruminating on putting my CO2 system on a separate timer. It's currently on my light timer so I'm injecting at lights-on and stopping at lights-out.

I've been thinking that I should have the CO2 on a separate timer set to cycle on and off about 1/2 to 1 hour before the lights so CO2 is already present at lights-on and will be somewhat depleted at lights-out since plants will stop utilizing CO2 then.

Anyone else doing this?

Cheers.

I do it. CO2 hour before lights on cycle is exactly what I do.

Yes, I do that; my CO2 comes on a 1/2 hour before lights on, and goes off a 1/2 hour before lights off.
