I use an overflow to maintain water level in my tank. I have an automatic water change system and I pump enough during each change to overflow for few minutes. Overflows have many uses limited only by your imagination!

And shrimp, and snails....

The darn nerites are driving me insane. I had to put a sponge over the intake of the MAG line, they were getting smushed up agains the impeller instake in the lines.

Shrimp turn into blown bits of chum in the tank, fish love it! :)
