Paintball systems are no less expensive than regular systems, with the exception of the initial purchase of the small bottle vs. the big bottle.

Long term, they are more expensive to run, as it costs a lot more in a volume consideration to fill the small bottles vs. the big bottles.

They are used primarily for nano tanks, where the big canister of CO2 just doesn't go under the tiny tank.
