Regarding Paint Ball CO2 Canisters

Post by jcali10 »

Is it difficult to set up a pressurized system using a paint ball cylinder? I.E. a special adapter to connect a regulator, or a special or hard to find smaller sized regulator. A guy has a 20 oz. bottle he is willing to sell me cheap. Thought I might replace the DIY CO2 set up on my 20 once I get the rest of the components.

Do those small paint ball cylinders have to be tested every 4 or 5 years like the regular ones?

I know from shopping online that Red Sea has regulators for paint ball cylinders as well as regular cylinders.

Your thoughts, insights, recommendations would be appreciated.

Thanks
Joe

Rick has a paintball setup at his house, he might be the one to ask about getting the proper fittings as I remember him saying something about having to special order(?) the proper parts IIRC.
