I'd be interested in the price of them too, they look wider than the Nova Extremes, probably a better light spread...

Just called - a 24" 2 bulb fixture is 85.99, no bulbs included. So, say $115-$120 with bulbs

That puts it right in between a Tek fixture (or 4 bulb Nova), and a Nova fixture.

I can get a Nova fixture, bulbs included (tho you'll end up replacing at least one of them) here for $45.95... Add $41 to replace both bulbs, with Geisemanns...or $25 to replace one.

reefgeek.com for the bulbs...

$156 for a 4X24 Nova, with Moonlights, and bulbs included - this one doesn't yet exist as a freshwater by default, though, so two bulbs at least muct be replaced, they come actinic. These are set up with two bulbs to their own reflector, LED's in a strip through the middle.

Tek's I haven't priced shopped a ton, but...

Retrofit Tek kits for 2X24 are maybe $90 complete, like here....

4 bulb 24" Fixture from Tek here...$195

That HAS to be the hydroponics version, as most aquarium versions run $280 or so.

In essense... I could run two Novas for the same price, ignoring electricity. It may e worth it, though, if the output is that much higher, who knows. :)

I'm pretty happy with my Nova so far, but heh, I replaced 5 15 watt pigtails retroed into the plastic hood with metal repair tape as the reflector, sooooo, I might not be the best judge.
