What are my options for lighting such a tank. This? http://www.aquacave.com/detail.aspx?ID=890
I'm not happy about that price! But what other alternatives are there for a single unit?
Or should I go with 4 2' power compacts?
I don't have an absolute clear picture of what I want as a layout; however, my main interest is grasslike plants broken up with thin-leaved upright horizontally splaid stems. (ex. Didiplis diandra)
The plants I am most interested in putting in the tank are:
Vallisneria nana
Giant hairgrass (don't know the scientific description)
dwarf hair grass (don't know the scientific description)
Blyxa japonica
Cyperus helferixa
Didiplis diandra
Eleocharis parvulus
Ranalisma rostrata
Fissidens
Pogostemon helferi
Eusteralis stellata ’broad leaf’
Lace leafed java fern
Rotala rotundafolia var green
anubius coffeefolia
The fish I plan to put in this tank are:
10 wild angelfish from Venezuela (will eliminate extras as pairs form to 4 fish)
10 Cardinal tetras
2 bristlenose species
otocinclus zebras (once I find them)
I have:
5 lb C02 tank
Eheim 2217
Amazonia order (coming)
What are your recommendations?
