I have Wolfia sp. It's pinhead size, so it gets through most fish nets and loves to hide out under plant leaves. Anybody want some?

Since inquiring minds want to know. I have two kinds of duckweed. One is red on the bottom side of the leaves and grows happily in a few buckets. The other one is light green in color and grows happily in a 30G tank. It also has the added benefit of being bite sized for the Goldfish.

Have you tried using a brine shrimp net? I wonder if that would work.

Might take a shop vac to get that stuff out. Even that might not do the trick.

I can get rid of most of it, but I don't think I'll ever get rid of all of it until I throw out all the plants and substrate. Thankfully, at least it doesn't grow nearly as quickly as duckweed. I've had it in one tank for about 2 years. I've managed to keep it contained to only that one tank because I'm very careful about rinsing things that get moved between tanks.

I know exactly where it came from, too. It came from plants that I brought home from the fish store I worked for 2 years ago (not Scales). A word of caution to always rinse plants you buy from fish stores! Also never never never put the rockwool from potted plants in your tank. All kinds of nasties can collect there from the nusery to the store. When I get plants in at Scales I rinse everything before they go into the sale tanks, but I can't get everything out of the rock wool of potted plants.
