Yesterday I noticed that there were some amber colored, 1mm diameter spheres on my dwarf hairgrass. I figured they were eggs from the two oto's I have in the tank. Today the eggs are white. I'm guessing that the likelihood of me getting any survivors is close to zero. Any suggestions on increasing the probability? Bear in mind I have no separate tank available, in-tank hatchery net, etc.

Re: Otocinclus Eggs?
In the tank journals are of TPT forum there is a guy named James "the oto diaries" or something like that, but the whole thread is him breeding Oto's. Those eggs are very cool!
Sincerely,

Re: Otocinclus Eggs?
I found the referenced posts and read quite a bit of it (though not all). Pictures I saw showed eggs looking like the eggs I found in my own tank. However, as I said above, the eggs turned white after the first 24 hours and have stayed that way since. So I'd say these eggs aren't going to yield any baby oto's. Oh well.
