healthy fry question-comment

Post by ddavila06 »

hey guys, wanted to check and see if you all can share the secret on how do you fatten-up your baby fish so that they can grow fast and healthy.

i use frozen brine shimp and freeze dried blood worms (is easier to grind than frozen or live) and new life expectrum grow. since i have not breed that many fish (exept cribs:P) and now i have the furcatas and the threadfin rainbows i was wondering on how i was doing 8)

Damian,

I thought you were going to the CCA meeting yesterday? That was the topic of the talk given by Ted Judy. Sean is right, and there are other's depending on the size of the fry and the work you are willing to put in. Might want to post this question over on CCA.

Look in the frozen food section. Most stores keep the frozen version of the food.

At half of inch you should be able to feed them chopped black worms. If you have frozen black or blood worm it is much easier to cut them in small pieces.
