Selling fish

Post by Jeff120 »

I am thinking of getting rid of my Africian cichlds. I have returned a few to AC in the past and get 10.00 for 50.00 worth of fish which I think is a big rip off. Anyone have any suggestions of where to take them or someone local to sell them to. I have some Malawi Peacocks, Labidochromis caeruleus(yellow labs)
From Lake Tanganyika- Cyphotilapia frontosa, Julidochromis regani, Altolamprologus compressiceps, and a nd a Synodontis eupterus catfish. These fish are fairly expensive I have paid 50-60 for a pair of peacocks, and most of the Tanganyika are pretty expensive. I dont want top $ just a fair price. If you know of any place or anyone that would offer this please let me know. Or if anyone here has any interest please contact me.

They are a crevasse zooplankton picker from Lake Tanganyika. They are compressed laterally and have an extended rostrum, nose, which allows them to pull food out of the cracks in the rock. I'm not sure how big they get but they are a neat fish. Lately I'm so close to pulling apart one of the planted tanks and making a Tanganyikan tank it's scary. I used to keep juli's, trophius duboisi, and brichari and a few synodontid cats when I lived in MA. I am starting to miss those tanks.

I'm quite familar with the fish, they are one my absolute favorites. The "face" also reminds me of Mr Limpet. In asking the variety I guess I'm really asking the color or even the regonalization since they have different coloration and markings.

I think I bought them as a Gold Head, but they seem to be the regular var. light brown/yellow
