How about chips in their shells?
I was thinking that maybe my loaches tried to get an all you can eat out of a few of them?
Has anyone else seenchipped shells?
olive nerite snails
Some nerites have the nice patterned shells, I had seen them on these mikes site. His are a little more interesting because they have some behavior:

Then something a little different on aquabid for $50 for 5 snails...which is sad:

So i googled this "virgin nerite" and found at the bottom of the page:

It would be neat to get some of those virgin nerite snails. That guy on aquabid is notorious for overcharging for his stuff. He has nice creatures for sale, but is a tad eccentric. His website is www.petshrimp.com and he moderates his own invertabrate discussion forum on that site. He is affectionately known as the Shrimp Nazi by some after the famous Seinfeld episode. Don't question his ways or you're in trouble....otherwise he's an alright guy.
I have to second Aaron's comments. I quit the shrimp list as I could not take his attitude. Shrimp Nazi is perfect, goes well with his attitude toward American hobbyists. Rather goes parallel with planted tank folks of about a decade ago - Then the "Dutch" style was it, all others were done by ignorant savages with lower-order intelligence.
Personally I would do without inverts if he were the only source.
Off soap-box, you are now returned to regular programming.

Where's the fish? Neptune
They are most fun in the River Tank - they play in the waterfalls more than the Danios do.
Unfortunately they have done entirely too good a job of cleaning off the algae - I need to pull them out. I will leave them in until after August, but I don't like the tank that clean - all that fiberglass/plastic is now spotless and very visible, ditto my reptile bowl plant trays. Tacky!
