Yea, Ben, come on up! Looks like we're having crews from Philly and Deleware come down for the meeting on Mar 20th - that meeting will be right outside Baltimore.
There is sure to be a group of us going to Aquarium Cnnter that hday... and we can always scope out the blue-eyes before then & save you a school or two...

I want to come, but have had a trip to Gatlinburg planned for a couple months now. Oh well. I'm going to make it up one day. Ghazanfar has told me he would take me to the Aquarium Center, and I'm going to raid his tanks of a couple plants while I'm there
Thanks for the invites though. I have been checking the list of meetings and events on the other part of the forum in hopes of being able to make it to something.

I know, I'm just joking with you.
I appreciate the offer, but I'm so far away that trips to DC are few and far between. I have someone looking out for them in Charlotte for me and hope to come up with something soon.
Thanks again. I want a tank of them

What's your budget... anything can be had for a price.. In a month or two, when shipping becomes a serious option, ask around on rainbowfish mailing lists, you'll prolly find whatever you want for far less than retail, even AC prices. If you still can't find what you're looking for, I can buy you some and ship out there overnight, shipping will usually be $25 or so, I have plenty of good shipping boxes so thats not a problem. Call AC, they may even ship direct, they are seriously good about health so I wouldn't worry about the health of stock... tell them you're a "remote" gwapa member when you call..

Well, I have Phil looking at the store he works at in Charlotte, and I might can get my LFS to get them, but I don't trust my LFS to get ones that don't have bent backs and things. Charlotte is only 3 hours away and that's actually the area where I grew up, so I can pick them up sometime when I go home.
What are some Rainbow forums?
Who would I talk to at AC if I neede to call them?

At AC, ask for Gloria Allen. She's the plant person, but super nice & very fish-knowledgeable! She spent about 15 min catching the 4 females in a tank of about 50 male Celebes for me... Very careful - catches healthy fish!
