Following on the footsteps of two kerri tetra spawns, last night I found 8 ancistrus, no more than a quarter of an inch long.
Perhaps I should abandon my efforts to create an aesthetically pleasing aquarium, start up a thread and beard algae-scape, and go into fish breeding.

Nature goes on without us.sherrymitchell wrote:Wow, that's fantastic. I often get fry on the "ignored" tanks too, LOL. I toss a bunch of plants into a spare tank and ten days later, I've got fry swimming amid the overgrowth and algae. I guess nature is just messy.
Maybe that is why keeping planted tanks is so rewarding.
