Stupid Question
Stupid Question
I have a small tank with some Cherry Shrimp. Picked them up at the AquaFest. They are starting to multiply but the darn snails are multiplying and taking over. Seems like they compete too much for the food. Will the chemicals that kill snails also hurt the Shrimp?

Uh yup.
Put a piece of lettuce or cucumber in the tank and as the snails gather to eat, take it out and either 1. bring them in a bag to an auction, 2. crush their behinds and feed them to your fish, 3. throw the whole thing in the trash and put in an new piece of green veggie.
If there are a lot of snails, put several pieces around the tank and collect the snails as they congregate on the vegetation.
