Cryptocoryne spiralis 'Tiger'

Post by halak »

I got some of these Crypts at the last group order. They came in all green as they had been growing emersed. Now they are turning the color they are supposed to be-see picture.

Hoping to try these soon. I got an order of regular ones with no roots; almost gone.

Online you see people talking about a "red" variety and a "Tiger" variety with one of them (not sure which) being solid redish and the other being redish with a green center line. In my experience, I've seen the same plants range from full green, to red with green stripe, to solid red all depending on light level. Makes me wonder if there is actually a distinction between tiger and red
