Rotala Variant

I found this Rotala as a hitchhiker in the pond section of a garden center. Cavan says it's a Rotala rotundifolia variant, but I'm wondering which one. It's really slow growing in my tank, has two and sometimes three leaves at each node. The stems get a pinkish to deep red and an almost pink to burgundy color in high light.

Any ideas?

How about Rotala rotundifolia sp. 'Arlene'? Grow a ton of it, and then sell it under that name. Then in five years someone will properly identify it. in the meantime, you are going to get rich. I'll take 10% of your profit for being the brain behind your new operation.
