Looking for tall grassy plant to replace Val nana

Okay, I've had Val nana as the backround in my 75 for some time now. I'd like to replace it with another grassy plant that does not spread all over the tank via runners. So far I've come up with Blyxa aubertii, Cyperus helferi, and Isoetes lacustris. Are there any others I've missed? Please share any pros and cons you might have experienced with any of those plants.

CH is a magnet for BBA, but once you get rid of that it's a pretty plant in a current. You have to break apart the stalks if you want to 'propagate' it, otherwise, you can just let it be and the stand will thicken up.

The Isotetes is an interesting plant but I've never seen it spread, at all, it just keeps going in the spot I planted it, for about 7 years. I would guess that feature is great for a static aquascape. The leaves are dropped off with some regularity so you can expect to find a few floating about during your weekly maintenance.

The crinums don't spread via runner, but you probably remember me getting rid of the one that took over my lace plant tank. I have a large sag that is flowering but not sending out runners. If I get any seeds I'll let you know.

Yeah, I think I am leaning towards the CH. After seeing it in both yours and Ghazanfar's tanks I was really impressed with it. I have the Isoetes also and from what I've read you can split it after a while to propagate it. My qualm with it is that the roots are fragile and if you break them trying to replant it, it won't stay down because it is very bouyant.
