Rachel O'Leary is reliable. She is also on the forum under Local Vendors, and she gives 10% off for club members. What I really like about her business venture is that she quarantines before offering her livestock for sale. She is near York, PA, so you could even drive up to her place and not only save on shipping but also check out her basement where she keeps her fish and inverts.

I'll second that, Rachael is very good at getting livestock delivered in good shape and her fish and inverts are top quality too, I've also had good luck from Epicfish if you need Cherry shrimp but other than that I'm am not a fan of buying any livestock via the internet unless I know the person in capable of keeping the goods alive.
Sincerely,
Tim

Possibly a good question would be what you are looking for?! There are several local club members between the clubs who are breeders, as well as resources like Rachel who are a great asset to all of us looking for the less common critters who like to have the peace of mind of someone reliable standing behind their product.

If Rachel can't get it for me (rare) I have ordered from Wet Spot on the west coast as well as from well documented sellers on aquabid.
Another thing to think about is posting up here on the forum if you're ordering something that needs shipping. You can split shipping and save money most times if you order with other members. Or if there's enough interest we can always consider turning it into a group buy through the club which can make it an even sweeter deal. :)

Josh now owns Batfish Aquatics and is starting to get fish and plants in.

I did get fish from Wet Spot and they were packed very well and arrived alive and are still alive, so they do a good job also.

Tim
