Seeking Pfertz fertilizer opinions

Post by jweis »

Has anyone used Pfertz fertilizers? I am looking for an easy, no way to mess it up, fertilyzing solution. Some of my plants are looking leggy so I think they might need better fertilyzing. I've been using the substrate pellets and "complete" fertilyzer from AquariumPlants.com, but I've been dissapointed with much of their advice, so I thought I should ask this group, since you all seem much more knowledgeable.

Do you inject CO2? CO2 is the most important nutrient, if that is deficient, then it doesn't matter what ferts you use. Lighting could be an issue as well. Sorry I haven't used pfertz. I used to use Seachem, but it gets expensive b/c with a high tech tank you really need to dose more than is recommended on the bottle.

To me EI with dry ferts is just about as easy as anything else out there and cheap.

Yes, I inject CO2. My PH is stable between 6.8-7.0. I also have lots of light via a T5 retrofit kit in my canopy.
