another plant ID please

Post by PadreJP »

I came away from the auction yesterday with a bag of this stuff. The bag was unlabeled and I did not happen to write down the name when it was ID'd during the auction.

Could someone let me know what this is? Thanks.

Common name: Pennywort.

It can be a super-fast grower, but is a really interesting plant to keep. Enjoy!

Thanks guys. Put it in my Blue Pearl shrimp tank, and both the shrimp and the ramshorns in there really seem to like it.

It's supposedly edible... Cavan mentioned that yesterday and APC says it too.

Some time ago I kept Cardamine Lyrata.....very similar by the looks of it. Can any of you gurus fill in the blanks on differences? Or for that matter how to tell them apart?
It is not murder if you're killing snails.
