Buying Flourish etc.

Post by Ben Belton »

I need some more Flourish, Flourish Excel, and Prime. Foster and Simth carries only the 250ml bottle (too small) and the 2L bottle (too d$*&m big) size. Nothing in between. That Fish Place always packs terribly and I get broken bottles and bottles with gobs of tape over the top and its a pain.

Where do you get your liquid supplements from.

I usually order my stuff from Big Als

http://www.bigalsonline.com/BigAlsUS/ct ... xcel2liter

Earns you points for cash back and gets there usually within 48 hours. Shipping costs are not bad either.

I ususally just get mine at Aquarium Depot (formerly Aquarium Center). The price is more, but at least I know it's not spilled everywhere like you said. ;)

Is there an LFS in your area that would order it in for you? Also, the 2 liter bottles keep really well in the fridge.

Same here, I just did an almost $200 order from them for a few things and I will probably be doing another order when I get my Co2 tank and such from my fathers house.

No place nearby that would order. There is no place nearby actually except Wal-mart.

I weill look at Big Als again. I haven't ordered from them in awhile. I have a points card thing, but in the past, it seems you never knew how many points you had or what good it was doing you. I used to like them alot.

Come get it at Scales. You can call ahead to see if the size you want is in stock, if not, Andrew will order it.

Ben

Best time to buy on Big Als is between Wed midnight and Thurs Noon as you get double points. They have fixed quite a bit on there as well for the points stuff.

Thanks
Rob
