Tank is now a covered with puffy, pretty, green algae. <sigh> Turned the timer switch to 'On' a few days ago to work on the tank before the lights were scheduled to come on.
Just realized it a few minutes ago. Waaaaaaaaaa!

Oh dear... so sorry. I'm sure you'll recover now that things are back on track.
Re: Resetting 120
I am glad I am not the only one that does things like that. I forgot to plug back in my heater and only noticed when I stuck my arm into a very chilly tank.

Oh no!
Is there any hope things could be salvaged with a huge water change, manual removal of as much algae as possible, and a whopping dose or two of Excel?

Looking at removing the algae bunches by hand and another water change. Only one plant that is supposed to be red enjoyed the the tanning session. No. I don't hate planted tanks. I hate contests that are based on skill. Oh, that's all contest! LOL!

Re: Resetting 120
I've never done anything like that, luckily but I installed new plumbing on my tank and my water changes are totally silent now, so I'm sitting right next to it as it overflows, run for the faucet. But it is an excellent way to remove your surface scum!
Sincerely,
Tim

Cheers.
