I don't think you can dose Fe in that way, from what I understand it doesn't stay available to the plants very long in the water column and this is why many folks dose Fe on a daily basis.

I did get my order and the Fe dosing results are immediate, chelated iron brings out the colors quickly.

I used to spray lawn with chelated iron and mine on a weekly basis until it was a super dark green, just be careful it will stain concrete to a nice deep orange color.
