I'm setting-up a heavily planted 58 gallon tank with a light fish load. I have an aquaclear 200 and a 300 available. Is there a problem with this type of filter for a heavily planted tank? Driving off C02 maybe?
Also, Ghazanfar, your PM box is full and no one can send you a PM <img border="0" src="smileys/smiley5.gif" border="0"> <edited><editID>Larry Grenier</editID><editDate>38008.7771296296</editDate></edited>

If budget is tight and you can't afford canister filter, there is a way to modify your HOB filters.
Back in the days, when I had Emperor400 on 55G, I placed a coarse sponge (available in any LFS store) inside of intake tube and coarse sponge on the outlets. Of course your flow will be drastically decreased but your CO2 will remain in acceptable levels. <img border="0" src="smileys/smiley2.gif" border="0"> <edited><editID>Jay Luto</editID><editDate>38008.9182175926</editDate></edited>
