I would love a tek light but they are quite a bit more then I wanted to spend. I think I'll look into the catalina light. I just wish their web site had some better pictures. I'll have to e-mail them.

Their solar line is what I got for my 4ft tank. If you want me to take some pix let me know. Not really that much to it. Just a ventillated top, switches and cords on one end and a midsection under the ventillation section which carries the ballasts.

Reflectors are very good. Little grooves on the side allow for optional legs which I bought to stand on the tank edges.

They seem to have a fair amount of distance between the bulbs, with some of the photos it's hard to tell what your looking at and that's the same problem you have when buying from a website and most companies have funny policies about returns when it comes to electronics.

That's why I like to call and talk to the seller in person and most of them are very familiar with the products and will tell if your not satified with it that you can just return it, it's always nice to have that in your bag of tricks before you make the purchase.
