Ricca and RRF all mixed up

Post by jweis »

So, I have a problem (I know, I am full of them today). When I trimmed my ricca it got all mixed up with my red root floaters and I just spent the last hour picking them apart.

Is there an easy way to separate ricca from other plants? Is there some clever way to prevent it from getting tangled in the first place?

Attached is a picture (taken from above).

Unfortunately, it's pretty much manual removal. :-(

I've tried speaking sharply to it to no avail.

RRF has completely covered my surface. I'm removing it all.

I traded half of my RRFs for some nice blue moscow guppies. :)

Not to be a beggar, but if one of you doesn't mind bringing me a small portion of RRF at the next meeting, I'd be most appreciative. It'll soon be pond season, and I didn't keep any around last fall...
